Your experience begins with a comfortable return transfer from Hermanus to Gansbaai, where you’ll depart from The Great White House and board a specialised dive vessel for a scenic ride to Dyer Island. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of the marine reserve and watch for seabirds, dolphins, and even whales in their natural habitat.

You’ll dive at Hospital and Batchelor Rock, part of the famous Geyser Rock Seal Colony—home to more than 60,000 Cape Fur Seals and one of the most dynamic marine ecosystems along the South African coast. Guided by experienced crew trained in interpreting seal behaviour, you’ll spend 20–30 minutes in the water observing their playful, curious movements as they glide effortlessly around you.

For your comfort and safety, flotation devices are provided for rest breaks, while professional guides remain close throughout the experience to ensure both participant safety and marine animal welfare. All guests are equipped with full protective wetsuits, gloves, and booties/flippers to help keep warm in the ocean conditions.
